Your position
As a sales manager at Remote Engineer, you will spend most of the week approaching and often visiting relationships and prospects. Here the focus is on finding and convincing new clients. But you also give our existing customer portfolio the necessary attention. Your sales activities will mainly take place in the Netherlands, with our office in Akkrum as a springboard. You will receive the necessary (technical) support from our marketing department and the other team members will also be happy to help you achieve your goals. A quick sampling of your varied duties:
- You will approach prospects from our own ERP and leads from the database
- You will liaise with prospects and customers to achieve our sales targets
- You give presentations to business contacts, visit trade fairs and relationship days, and work on the further expansion of our relationship network.
This is you
You are a true hunter who likes to sink your teeth into new commercial opportunities. You have a hbo working and thinking level and feel at home in a technically oriented (work) environment with lots of dynamics and a firm focus on innovation. You supplement this with:
- A completed college education, commercial or IT
- Work experience in sales
- Affinity with our solutions and the specialty market in which we operate
- Strong communication skills, both in Dutch and English
- Persuasiveness, negotiation skills, results orientation and preferably a pleasant sense of humor
