VNC

Last updated on 19 March 2026

With remote VNC (VNC protocol, Virtual Network Computing), you can control the graphical interface of a machine or industrial PC. From the portal, you can easily start a session where screen and input are directly available.

Secure Connection via HTTPS and VPN

The connection always runs via HTTPS and is supported by a VPN tunnel, ensuring your session remains fully protected. You can open VNC in the browser or via the Remote app, allowing you to work flexibly – whether on the go or from the office.

Creating a VNC Service in the Portal

To create a VNC service, go to the location in the portal, add the machine, and when adding a Remote Access Service, select the VNC protocol. After entering the VNC server port, the gateway is automatically configured and you can control the desktop remotely.
