RDP

Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) allows you to fully manage a Windows environment remotely. For secure RDP access, simply select the desired machine in the portal and start an RDP session for maintenance or configuration.

How the Connection Stays Secure

All communication runs over HTTPS and is supplemented with a VPN tunnel, ensuring the connection is always reliable and encrypted. RDP works both in the browser and in the Remote app, allowing seamless access to your machines whether you’re on the road or in the office.

Creating an RDP Service in the Portal

To create an RDP service, go to the location in the portal, add the machine as a device. Then add a Remote Access Service, select RDP as the protocol, and enter the port being used. The portal then automatically pushes the configuration to the VPN gateway, allowing you to immediately log in to the desktop.

Steps Summarized

In summary: select location, add Windows machine as a device, create a Remote Access Service, select RDP protocol, and enter the port. The portal handles the rest with the VPN gateway, and you have desktop access via RDP over HTTPS and VPN.
