Remote offers a complete ecosystem for secure connections, data monitoring, and remote control. The first steps are crucial: correctly configured hardware and a well-set-up Remote Portal form the foundation for everything that follows.
In this section, we guide you through the initial setup of the key components. You will learn how to install and link a ServiceGate router to the Remote Portal, how to configure a SmartController or EdgeController via the local web interface, and how to establish a stable VPN connection for secure cloud connectivity.
The Remote Controller Setup provides a brief but comprehensive step-by-step plan for the hardware installation, local configuration, and VPN settings of both the SmartController and the EdgeController.
Once the hardware is correctly connected, you can manage your locations and routers, log data, and monitor connections via the Remote Portal.
Additionally, this section explains how to activate and configure the Remote Portal. The Portal is the central platform from which you manage all connected devices, locations, and users.
Through the Remote Portal, you set up Remote Access Services, manage VPN connections, and view live data from connected machines and installations.
