The challenge
Customer request: we are looking for a solution to host camera systems for security purposes for different locations. These connections, of course – it’s not in our name for nothing – must be extremely secure, stable and reliable. In addition, it must also be capable of transporting a lot of data for monitoring our customers’ assets.
Solution
The development of a unique proprietary Securitas environment that allows smart secure connections to be hosted. Within this environment, a solid link to the data center was realized for the storage of image and other data from the cameras.
Together with the hardware we provided, this customization was delivered in optima forma.
A solution not provided by any other colleague.
Realization
This custom solution also began with listening carefully to the customer. By combining our knowledge of technology, protocols and business networks, we are able to host cameras and process data streams to a platform. This allowed us to offer this client a solution that was as smart as it was unique. Among other things, we have set up virtual servers in our data center for this purpose (Cloud solution). In addition, Securitas uses our standard remote access service to troubleshoot and remotely control or program the cameras.
