Operating systems use various industrial protocols to exchange information. Using data logging, we work with these protocols and send the information to the next level. Connections to the operating system are made using the router and data is sent using an encrypted connection to various IIoT/could platforms for further interpretation and processing.
Presenting data clearly in dashboards (that you can set up yourself) gives you a great way of staying on top of real-time status, machine performance and, for instance, the state of parts subject to wear and tear. You can add various widgets in the dashboard so that the information and data is presented or exported in the right format.
Alarms & events mean you are signalled immediately when something goes wrong with a machine. You determine yourself, for instance, how you receive these notifications and who has to be notified.
Predictive maintenance uses a mathematical formula to recognise patterns in the machine’s condition. This then determines when maintenance or repairs should be carried out. Machine learning takes this a step further and predicts what the best form of maintenance would be and the number of unplanned repairs – and so prevents downtime.
