Van den Heuvel Water Technology (VDHW) in Scherpenzeel produces salt electrolysis systems making it a specialist in sustainable water disinfection technology for various sectors. Swimming pools are an important target group with their obligation to test the quality of the swimming water daily and report this to the municipality where the swimming pool is located. In addition, being able to offer their services quickly is of paramount importance to VDVH, so they need to be able to quickly resolve issues remotely if a problem occurs with one of the machines they have placed.
Practically all the machines VDHW installs or maintains has a ServiceGate industrial VPN router so that they can provide 24/7 remote service. Using our portal and client, VDHW are able to access their locations remotely and take over the control of the machines if necessary.
All their needs were met with our standard ServiceGate Lite solution in combination with our portal and client. In addition, we developed a reporting system using the data from VDWH’s operating system so that they can demonstrate the quality of the swimming pool water. The data is collated and presented in our HELIX platform: our own data collection platform that runs on our own servers.
